We are in the process of raising funds for a second responder kit. Our scheme has to be self sufficient and so we have to raise money to purchase new equipment. At the moment we can only have one member of our scheme on call at any time, we would like to purchase a new ” kit “. The new kit would enable us to attend twice the number of calls and be of greater benefit to our community.

Here is a breakdown of the costs involved to run our scheme:

• £20 – Would buy a Pair of Electrode Pads for the AED

• £30 – Would buy a High Visibility Jacket to ensure the safety of the Community Responder
• £110 – Would buy a spare battery for the AED
• £350 – Would buy an AED training package including manikin and training AED
• £2,000 – Would buy a new full responder kit and provide the running costs for a full year
• £250 PA – Would buy and run our emergency phone
